An overflow of delicious food!
Members gather for September potluck
About 20 gardeners turned out for our September potluck in Cambridge Park, just outside the garden gates.
The event, organized by Member-at-Large Randy, featured too much food, including salads, main dishes and desserts.
There were plenty of leftovers and everyone got to bring home doggy bags.
A special highlight was restaurant-level barbequed chicken, prepared right next door in the garden by a member who is a professional cook.
“A big thank you to all the people who brought food and helped out with setting up and taking down,” said one board member. “Our garden is more than just isolating yourself in your private plot. We are a community!”
